This event took place in March 2009 at St Martin’s Parish Hall. The response to the initial appeal for donations was astonishing and a huge variety of second- hand books, soft toys, dolls, Fisher Price toys, board games, videos, DVDs, Lego and building blocks, and many other games and toys were collected from Parish Halls and schools all over the Island. There was even a practically new bicycle!!

All the items collected were stored at Aquila Centre and sorted and priced by members of the committee.
On the day itself, a large crowd gathered  well before the official opening and selling was brisk for several hours. A total of almost £900 was raised for the school in Pakistan.
